In our workshop, we are equipped with two advanced balancing benches, designed to perform both dynamic and static balancing for turbine rotors weighing between 5 kg and 1000 kg. These benches allow us to achieve precise balance within the tolerances recommended by turbine manufacturers, ensuring optimal rotor performance and longevity.
As turbine rotors spin, they generate centrifugal forces that act in both radial and axial directions due to the mass and distribution of their components. If the mass distribution is not within manufacturer-specified tolerances, these forces can lead to uneven stress, resulting in fatigue on the rotor and bearings. Over time, this imbalance can cause severe damage to the turbine, including premature wear and system failure.
To prevent such issues, our skilled technicians conduct meticulous balancing procedures on our state-of-the-art benches, ensuring that each rotor meets stringent quality standards.
